The Bible
We believe that the Holy Bible is the true and inspired word of God and the authoritative standard for Christian faith and practice. 2 Timothy 3:16-17
God
We believe that there is one God eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. 2 Corinthians 13:14
Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is the second person of the Trinity, the only begotten Son of God who is both fully God and fully human. Jesus lived a sinless life, died on the cross, was raised from the dead, and now sits at the right hand of the Father. Jesus Christ will personally return to earth in power and glory. Matthew 1:21-22, John 1:1-5, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4, Acts 1:9-11
Holy Spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity, the author of life who proceeds from the Father and the Son. The Holy Spirit baptizes all believers into the body of Christ, indwells, and seals believers until Jesus returns. John 16:8-11, 1 Corinthians 3:16, 1 Corinthians 12:12, Ephesians 1:13
Humanity
We believe that human beings are created in the image of God but by their own voluntary act of sin are lost, separated from God, and powerless to save themselves. Genesis 1:27, Romans 3:23, Romans 5:12
Salvation
We believe that salvation is God’s gracious and free gift to humanity through faith in Jesus Christ and his atonement for human sin. Romans 6:23, Ephesians 2:8-9, John 14:6, 1 John 2:2
Spiritual Gifts
We believe that God graciously gives spiritual gifts to all believers for the purpose of building up and serving the church and that all the gifts of the Holy Spirit are still active today. Romans 12:6-8, 1 Corinthians 12:8-10, Ephesians 4:11-12
The Church
We believe that the Church is a family composed of believers who confess Jesus Christ as Lord and who are indwelt by the Holy Spirit. We observe two church ordinances: believer’s Baptism and the Lord’s Supper. Matthew 28:18-20, 1 Corinthians 11:24-25
