LUKE M.D.
A PHYSICIAN'S ACCOUNT OF THE GOSPEL

The book of Luke is a fascinating account of the life of Jesus Christ. Luke, also the author of the book of Acts and a traveling companion of the Apostle Paul, offers several unique perspectives compared to the other three gospels found in the New Testament. First, he was a doctor, so he offers a detailed and intelligent examination of the life of Jesus. Second, most theologians agree that Luke was a Gentile and not a Jew. Third, he was not considered to be an eyewitness to the events surrounding Jesus’ life.

Through careful investigation, personal interviews, and thorough examination of other accounts of Jesus life, Luke draws together an intriguing perspective.

Through this unique viewpoint, Luke encourages us to delve into our own study of the word of God – to carefully examine the details of history, culture, geography and the numerous accounts of Christ’s life found in the Bible to provide a broader picture of Jesus’ message to us today.

Drawing all these aspects together allows us to see the implication and purpose of Jesus’ life as it was intended to be seen.

Join us in our journey through every story and study of every event in the Gospel of Luke and see how events that took place over 2000 years ago give us insight into how we should live our lives today.
